The Rubber coated magnets with cable holder or magnetic cable tie mount are generally referring to the same type of product that consists of a rubber coated magnet base and a mounting bracket. They are widely used for mounting cables, wires, pipes etc. in various industries and places.

Since magnetic cable tie mount is actually an extension of Round Rubber Coating Magnets, it has all the advantages of round rubber coated magnets. The rubber coating is TPV, which has very good resistance to salt water, UV or oil corrosion. Also, TPV Rubber Coating Material is soft, it can protect the delicate surface to be attached free from scratches. Inside the rubber material, there are super strong neodymium disc magnets placed on a steel plate according to a specially designed layout.

We test the holding force of magnetic assembly by attaching it on a 20mm thick steel plate (low carbon steel with no coating) at room temperature and then pulling it slowly in vertical direction with the device that is sensitive enough to record the strength at the moment when magnetic assembly is separated from the steel plate. This is to give you a reference while the actual holding force in real application could be different with the change of pulling direction, thickness of the steel, surface treatment, etc.
