Rubberized Cork Sheets

Rubberized cork sheets are  manufactured by a very special procedure that includes the bonding of  fine granules of cork with nitrile or other synthetic rubber under a  particular temperature and pressure in a vulcanization chamber. This  forms a solid block of cork rubber sheets of about 100 mm, from which  the desired shape and size sheet is sliced off.

Rubberized  cork sheets are free of any impurities like sawdust, high-density wood  particles, or hardboard. It is available in a variety of shapes and  sizes and is widely used for gasket purposes in the electrical industry.

Transformer industry, electrical switchgear industry, and automobile industry,  where it is used for its highly oil-resistant application.

Composition:

Manufactured using a blend of fine cork granules along with synthetic, neoprene, or Nitrile rubber compounds.
