R.W. Hartnett - Model C -Capsule Printer
The Model C Capsule Printer is engineered to accommodate specific capsule dimensions, optimizing the printing process for pharma applications. Capable of printing ten rows simultaneously, this machine achieves a throughput of approximately 300,000 capsules per hour. Its design incorporates stationary elements in the rectifying system, ensuring reliability and minimal maintenance. Equipped with optional duotone printing units, it allows for bi-color printing solutions, enhancing identification and branding. The head drum feed assembly is modular, allowing for quick adjustments to match different capsule sizes. The removal of carrier bars is streamlined by the machine's bed-like construction, facilitating efficient changeovers that minimize downtime. Additional features include an ink viscosity system and rubber roll cleaning capabilities, while validation packages and a bulk conveyor option are available to meet specific production needs. The Model C operates on a 240V, 60Hz power supply with an air requirement of 80 psi at 5 scfm.

With no moving parts in the rectifying system, operation is dependable and trouble free. This high performance machine can be equipped with duotone printing units which enables printing in two colors; one on the cap and one on the body. While the base of the machine stays the same, the head drum feed assembly can be easily swapped to change capsule sizes. The carrier bars for this machine are easily removed due to the bed like style of the machine. This makes changeovers simple and efficient so production is at its max.
