Applications and materials
The Saalasti Crush V is particularly suitable for pulp mills, but also for sawmills, pellet mills and power plants where woody biomass must be reduced in size. The Saalasti Crush V crusher can be used to process a wide range of materials such as bark, other wood by-products from debarking plants, screening rejects, trees and logs.
The Saalasti Crush V is equipped with Saalasti’s Multitool rotor, with a choice of crushing or chipping knives depending on the material to be processed. The knives can be changed in as little as 45 minutes, so the machine can easily be converted even daily if necessary.
