Sabo -Â Model 247 & 307 Series -Bag Filters
Each of our treatment units has a bag filter tank. The bag filter tank is utilized to separate the sludge that is produced from the treatment process and the treated water. The sludge is collected in the bag filter for disposal and the treated water is transferred to a tank for water reuse (if applicable) or legally discharged.
Our 247 & 307 series bag filters have been designed specifically to meet the requirements of open head discharge filtering. This exceptional design eliminates leakage and allows for a secure fit to the adapter head. This provides for a good reliable means of filtration.
Our bags are manufactured of 10oz. virgin polypropylene and are glazed on one side to act as a means of lubricating the inside of the bag to prevent the floc from sticking to the bag. This process provides the option of emptying the sludge and reusing the bag. This offers a considerable cost savings.
In addition to making the bag filters that are used with our equipment, we have also expanded to include bag filters that are used inside of a bag filter vessel. Standard sizes are available.
All of our bag filters have a galvanized snap ring and handles for easy removal. Various sizes and micron ratings are available.
