Safewell - Model ALG10-P -Breathing Air Purification Unit for Personal Protective Equipment

The Safewell breathing air purification system was developed by Safewell back in 1999 and the product has been proved following many thousands of deployments by all the leading fabric maintenance organisations in the oil and gas and industrial sectors both onshore, offshore and internationally. 

Over the years, we have developed different versions to reflect client needs. We class this product as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and benefits the end user by providing a reliable, effective long term safety barrier between the compressor and the lungs of those breathing from the compressor.

The ALG10-P purifies compressed air to a medical quality standard (European Pharmacopeia) and removes particles, compressor oil, condensed water, water vapour, carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulphur dioxide, oil vapours, odour, carbon monoxide and any final dust particles to safe levels. Particle Filtration is validated to ISO12500.

Safewell supports clients during the ALG10 product lifecycle through the supply of spares and maintenance services to continuously revalidate the safety performance of the barrier in accordance with the product guidelines and provide maximum return on investment.

The Safewell ALG10 is a high quality safety product and like any safety product it requires effective maintenance and testing during the product life cycle to maintain the safety performance. The product has been designed for ease of maintenance and Safewell works closely with its clients to manage the lifecycle safety of the product including training, spares holding, service, testing and revalidation.
