This fume hood utilizes powerful air flow in a sturdy, compact enclosure for optimal protection from hazardous fumes, spills, and contaminants. Typical uses for a Stainless Steel Fume Hood are chemical fume control, pharmaceutical compounding containment, soldering applications, light dust removal, biological applications, solvent or epoxy use, and many more applications that require the removal of fumes and particulate.
Stainless steel fume hoods, manufactured by Sentry Air Systems, provide a portable, energy efficient, and economical solution for many commercial, medical, laboratory and industrial applications that require the unique features of a stainless steel containment hood.
A stainless steel fume hood is an ESD-Safe containment hood that primarily functions as an engineering safety control to protect the user from harmful contaminants that could be produced through several different applications. By utilizing the qualities of the type 304, 16-gauge stainless steel, these fume hoods offer resistance to a wide range of chemicals, moisture and heat resistance, and can be easily cleaned or decontaminated.

Typically, the applications for a stainless steel ductless fume hood are biological sciences, dust removal, soldering, pharmaceutical compounding containment, chemical fume control, solvent or epoxy use, and many other applications that require the removal of harmful fumes and particulate in a confined area.
On most occasions stainless steel fume hoods are recommended for applications that produce heat or moisture, will require a surface that can be cleaned easily, or a static charge.
