Schroder Spezialglas GmbH
Schroder - Borosilicate Sight Glasses
In its typical composition, borosilicate float glass (Boronorm) contains fewer colour-imparting iron oxides. This makes it a colourless glass with good thermal properties and outstanding transparency. Thanks to the low thermal expansion typical of this borosilicate, tempering yields a glass with exceptionally high thermal shock resistance.
