Scientific - Cold Cleanroom Environments
Cold clean room environments, including climate controlled cleanroom enclosures, demand the most powerful ventilation, air cleaning, and climate control available for sensitive manufacturing and research processes. Since 1967, Scientific Climate Systems has become the acknowledged leader in the engineering and construction of cold clean rooms. Our track record and expertise permit us to design and build a cold clean room to fit your precise requirements.
Cleanroom Requirements & Classifications
SCS is experienced in engineering and building cold clean rooms rated from Class 100 to Class 100,000, and designed to meet all IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols. Scientific Climate Systems specializes in building custom cleanrooms from Class 100 to Class 100,000 and all ISO Equivalents. SCS is also certified to meet ISO 14644 Cleanroom Standards. Take a look at the table below to see the classifications offered and their ISO Rating equivalence.
In addition, we can provide the following options in the engineering and building of your custom cleanroom:
- Vertical or horizontal air distribution available throughout cold clean room
- Direct distribution of air to certain zones to achieve lower cold clean room classification
- HEPA filtration in ceiling panels to achieve cold clean room classification
For temperature controls, we can design and build your cold cleanroom to the standard temperature of 4°C, or other temperature ranges depending on your requirements. Thanks to our 4" wall and ceiling panel construction, with a minimum of R-30 insulation, we can keep your precise temperature control at a range of ±1°C, and temperature uniformity control at a range of ±0.5°C. Additional options include:
- Redundant refrigeration systems
- Modular construction for easy construction and relocation of cold cleanroom
- Stainless steel, aluminum, and galvanized steel panel surfaces
To provide complete quality assurance, we can provide a complete validation of your cold clean room, including documentation on the installation, operations, and performance of the facility.
