2p-LABSModel X1000 Series -Scientific Radar Sensors for Research Applications

SHARE

The X1000 series scientific radar sensors from 2π-LABS are designed to empower researchers with high-performance radar technology, offering exceptional range resolution, stability, and accuracy. These pocket-sized sensors are equipped with a WR 6.5 waveguide interface and compatible with UG-387/U standard flanges, with dielectric lens antennas available as alternatives. The sensors provide a plug-and-play experience through a USB-C interface for power and data, and support a SCPI-like protocol and an open source Python library, ensuring seamless integration with existing research tools. Operating at a frequency range of 126 to 182 GHz, the X1000 series delivers a -3 dB range resolution of 2.4 mm in air. The system supports FMCW modulation and provides precise measurements at rates of up to 1 kHz, with accuracy levels reaching up to 1 μm. This technology is particularly beneficial for scientific endeavors requiring meticulous measurement and adaptability, with an array of optional accessories to further customize the user experience.
