MacroPixel SC-14x25c-SiPM-T Scintillation Detector Assembly includes 14x14x25.4 mm high-performance ScintiClear SrI2(Eu) crystal coupled to MicroFJ SiPM array with T-sensor. Europium-doped strontium iodide (SrI2:Eu) is a recently developed halide scintillator that supersedes older detector materials due to its ruggedness, radiation hardness, absence of internal activity, high sensitivity, lower cost, excellent linearity, and high energy resolution over a wide energy range, from a few keV to tens of MeV.
