Scissor Shears squeeze together for fast cutting of thin wall and small diameter PE, PEX, rubber, or nylon tubing. Use the SC1SS for PVC cuts. Rotate scissor shears around tubing while squeezing handles together for the best cut. All models feature a new grip design for more secure hold. Regular replacement blades have a non-stick coating and there is a tough, stainless steel blade option (SC1BSS) which is better for cutting PVC.cissor Shears are NOT recommended to cut PVC or CPVC for Solvent Cement Weld Connections.
