Gregg Drilling has designed a robotic deep sea drill capable of operating in water depths up to 3000 meters. Designed by geotechnical engineers, the deep sea drill can obtain high quality undisturbed soil samples and soil cores up to 150 meters below the sea floor. The drilling methods employed include wire-line rotary and push sampling with HWT or PQ (85mm) sized tooling.
