BloApCo seal-drum conveyors offer significant energy and dollar savings over conventional printer, slotter, flexo or die cutter discharge belt or fan-powered conveyors, by using air from outside& usually from a stack through the roof. The 12″ belt covered floating seal-drum, mounted just ahead of the enclosed discharge end of the conveyor, seals off entrance of plant air. When scrap is introduced, the sealdrum simply raises up on its pivot arms and allows material to enter and be swept away by the pneumatic system. The advantages are significant, as the drum achieves a 95% effective seal against induction of plant air.
