Self-Bonding Wire

Hot air type self-bonding wire is an enamelled wire with an additional adhensive enamel overcoat which activate the adhensive by hot air. Hot air temperature normally between 140℃~230℃, depends on the size. Once activated the adhesive bonds turn to turn windings into a compact self supporting coil, impregnation may be eliminated. It`s suitable for high speed winding, also may offer cost and manufacturing advantages in some winding applications as bobbins, tape, varnishing may be eliminated.
