Fair - Self Cleaning Automatic Washing Electrostatic Precipitator
We produce Self Cleaning Electrostatic Filter Automatic Washing complete system in Ankara-Turkey. Electrostatic filters are very effective in collecting particles in the air. ASHRAE gives a particle size of 0.1 micron, which could be retained by electrostatic filters. However, the size that can be retained in the wet scrubber is 2 microns. It is 20 times bigger than the particle that can be held by the electrostatic filter.
Electrostatic filters are one of the most effective filters for very small particles. And they can be reused. So they can reduce operating costs.
Unlike other filters, the efficiency of the electrostatic filters depends on many parameters.
Once we pay attention to the voltage loaded , DC quality, ionizer and collector design of the ESP. Then we can assume that we have the product that will give the maximum efficiency. These are the features that we can control during our design and manufacturing. However, in the operating conditions, the electrostatic filters are affected by different parameters. Such as, the temperature of the air, the humidity of the air, the velocity of the air, the particle geometry, the charge of the particle, the polarization and ionization of the particle, and the specific gravity of the particle.
CLEANING ELECTROSTATIC FILTER EFFECTS EFFICIENCY
No factors mentioned above in a non-clean filter does matter. Obviously, dirty electrostatic filter never collets any of particles.
The efficiency of the electrostatic filter is different from other dust filters. At other filters, while the pressure loss increases, the efficiency does not drop much. On the contrary, the efficiency of ESP is dramatically reduced even there is no pressure loss. Therefore, the electrostatic filter should be washed regularly. ESP should be washed regularly. Before it is fully contaminated.
The automatic washing system is an essential part of the electrostatic filters. So far, in our vast experience, we see that an electrostatic filter without an automatic washing system causes lots of problems.
When investing in an electrostatic filter some questions must find answers. Will it really meet your needs. Also, is it going to be a long-term sustainable system? As a result, the answers to these questions should be considered carefully.
Since it eliminates the need to use double row electrostatic filters, it eases the operation and decreases the investment cost. So, Automatic washing is essential for charcoal and barbecue exhausts filters. Because these pollute the electrostatic filter very quickly. Finally, the investment cost is lower than the use of a double-row electrostatic filter and high efficiency operation is guaranteed.
ESP Automatic washing system features are as follows:
- All mechanical and automation equipment are in minimum dimensions. So that, suitable for easy installation in a panel. 80 x 120 x 30 cm or less.
- Automatic washing system works with mains pressure. As a result, it does not require additional pressure pump and storage tank. While the mains water pressure of 2.5 bar is sufficient.
- The system is ready to use. Then, it is sufficient to supply mains water and feed energy to the automatic washing system. Plug and play.
- The hot water supply line must be drawn from the kitchen hot water for the automatic washing system.
- Automatic washing drainage should be connected to oil separator if possible.
- Caustic should not be used for washing electrostatic filters which are made of aluminum.
