Optimus - Self-Cleaning Protective Screen Rake

The rake is a self-cleaning protective screen for water intakes of hydroelectric power stations or drinking water systems and requires no drive. It consists of a robust fine screen, which is made of special wear-resistant stainless steel. The penetration of sand into the water intake is minimized thanks to the small gap width. Separation systems like trash rack cleaner are not necessary, the sand trap can be dimensioned smaller, which affects the construction costs economically.
