The innovative self-propelled Bale Baron is the ultimate in small bale packaging systems. It is based on the same innovative design concept as the pull-type model. Designed with power and versatility in mind, the 6240SP will increase your bale production without the use of a tractor.
A spacious premium cab offers a full view of your surroundings and comes equipped with dual monitors, air conditioning and a comfortable ergonomic driver’s seat.
In-cab split camera monitor gives the operator a simultaneous view of the exit ramp, rotary table and injector. When backing up, the backup camera takes full screen view in the monitor.
The Bale Baron 6240SP’s power comes from a 6.8L John Deere 6 Cylinder Turbocharged 173 hp emissions compliant Tier 3 diesel engine, known for its unparalleled durability.
In event of a bale jam, simply reverse the pickup and eject the jammed bale. No need to get out of the cab.
With our advanced 4WD system and wide flotation tires, you can easily work in varied field conditions such as muck ground and sandy soil. Complete with travel lights, air ride suspension and hydrostatic and dynamic braking, the Self-Propelled Bale Baron is ready to travel from field to field at a top road speed of 30 MPH (48 KM/H).
The low maintenance Rasspe knotter is reliable and easy to maintain. Knotter only needs greasing every 2000 bundles. Missed ties have an audible alarm.
