Aquate - Septic Tank Effluent Pumps (STEP) System
Aquate Septic Tank Effluent Pumps (STEP) Systems are ideal for rural areas where conventional gravity systems are impractical or cost prohibitive. The Aquate STEP system incorporates a primary wastewater treatment tank and biological filter followed by a pump station that transfers the partially treated wastewater to a centralised wastewater treatment plant. Utilising a multi-stage high head pump and small diameter pipes, the STEP System can transport the wastewater long distances and achieve large vertical lifts.
Aquate offer either concrete or polypropylene tank STEP systems in single or multiple tank configurations. A retro STEP system is also available if a good quality septic tank has already been installed. The best system for a site will be dependant on the site topography and ground conditions.
Electrical ControllersAll Aquate STEP Systems come complete with an electrical controller that can be located on the pump chamber or installed at a nearby dwelling.
