Difference between sch 30 and sch 40 304 Stainless Steel Pipe

The differences between sch 30 and sch 40 of the 304 grade SS Pipe are in their wall thickness, inner dimensions, and weight. Sch 40 pipes are thicker and have greater weight than the sch 30 pipes. However, the sch 30 pipes have a bigger inner wall diameter. Sch 30 pipes are for non-pressure items and the temperature here do not exceed 140 degrees F. The sch 40 pipes work the best for low pressure applications.
