Silmisa - Plastic Cyclone

A plastic cyclone consists of the following main components:

1. Cylindrical body: It is the central part of the cyclone, usually cylindrically, where the separation of solid plastic particles from the air or gas flow occurs.
2. tangential input: The flow of air contaminated with plastic particles enters the cyclone tangentially on the upper side of the cylinder. This tangential input causes the flow to spiral downwards into the inside of the cylinder
3. Clean air output: At the top of the cyclone, is the outlet for the clean air that has been purged from plastic particles.
4. Plastic particle output: At the base of the cyclone, there is a specific output for solid plastic particles that have been separated from the air.
