The Silverized Ceramic Candle is an antimicrobial water filtration system that uses micro-porous ceramic surface loaded with silver to remove microbial contaminants like bacteria & virus from water. It is often used in domestic gravity water filtration systems. It is an effective way to keep the drinking water free of sediment & microbial contamination.
The Silverized Ceramic Candle is enriched with natural antibacterial & antiviral agent, namely silver. Silver is reported to have very broad spectrum antimicrobial properties. It disrupts the microbial enzyme system & cell metabolism. It de-functions the nucleus & hence prevents multiplication of the microbial cells. The ceramic surface, being porous, acts as a sediment filter keeping way the insoluble impurities & particles from entering the outlet water. There is a silverized carbon pouch functional inside the candle. It adsorbs any unwanted color & odor from the water. All these actions make the water safe & potable.
