GC-PPA8 is a spherical activated alumina impregnated with 8% potassium permanganate. It is ideal for odor control or corrosion control applications where activated carbon is ineffective like the adsorption of polar or lower molecular weight compounds. Because it is spherical, it is advantageous to similar granular products for use in certain types of panel filters and in applications where lower pressure drop is required. GC-PPA8`s 8% KMnO4 concentration is higher than other similar products giving it longer service life.
