Hastelloy Weld Neck Flanges is the most widely used and versatile flange and has corrosion resistance, good resistance to reducing, and mildly oxidizing corrosives, excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance with very good resistance to localized attack. Incoloy weld neck flanges are used for applications that require stable structure and good strength during prolonged exposure to high temperatures. Inconel Weld Neck Flanges are used in mild environments, such as the atmosphere, seawater, neutral salts, and alkaline media, etc. Monel weld neck flanges exhibit high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a range of media including seawater, hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, and alkalies. Titanium Weld Neck Flanges are used in seawater as they are resistant to high velocity in rapidly moving currents as well as stagnant seawater, not affected by the presence of sulfides in seawater, seawater resistant to temperatures as high as 500 degrees F (260 degrees C).
