AH - Single Shaft Shredder
Our single-shaft shredder is used for size reduction by shredding of a variety of material including plastics, paper, fabric waste, tires, packaging material, and selected metal scrap types. It makes use of a single shaft with rotary blades that shred with high cutting efficiency. Single shaft shredder is a versatile equipment that finds its application in tough industries such as in MSW (Municipal solid waste) processing plants, material recovery facilities (MRFs), and scrap processing and recycling plants dealing with commercial and industrial waste.
Single shaft shredder is mostly used for shredding thick materials that are resistant to cutting. The material that is fed into the hopper is pushed towards the cutting blades and repeatedly moves between the rotating blades till the scrap is cut into desired size. The shredded material then passes through a sieve and produces an output material in homogeneous dimensions.
