Sintéleia - Model SCA02 - Can-Bus/RS485 -Dual Channel Axis Control Board
The SCA02 Axis Control Board is capable to smart drive 2 small-power low voltage DC or AC motors (10A). The card can manage both end-line sensors or position feedbacks by means of the reading of encoder and/or potentiometer sensors. It can also generate software end-line virtual sensors, speed or acceleration ramps and positionings.
The speed feedback is obtained by means of the reading of the armature voltage or by means of an encoder input.
The host interface can take place via CAN BUS, at speeds from 125kbit/sec and 1 Mbit/sec or via RS485 interface, with MODBUS RTU or ASCII, depending on the model.
The card manages the reading of the adsorbed motor current to protect the MOS output transistors (an hardware limit dependent from the installed MOS on the card) and to limit the power adsorbed by the motor (a software limit with average and peak threshold), and is equipped of 2 digital outputs wich can be used to release engine brakes.
