Leica - Model SM2010 R -Sliding Microtome Systems
With smooth movementof the sledge, precision specimen orientation, and emphasis on safety and ergonomics, the SM2010 Rproduces high quality sectionsfor routine histopathology (paraffin). The stable sliding microtome has a totally enclosed micrometer feeding system with anergonomically positioned object head close to the user. The smooth running sledgecan be locked in11 positions by using the easily accessible sledge brake.
Quick release system for specimen clamps allows operator to quickly and easily change from one clamp to another, resulting in improved workflow.
Large volume antistatic section waste tray with area for tools allows collection of large volume of waste and ease of cleaning due to the antistatic surface, results in improved workflow and efficiency.
Blade life is extended by a simple and safe lateral displacement function, resulting in cost-savings for the laboratory.
This blade holder is recommended for soft tissue and biopsies.
