Sludge Storage Buried Silos

The sludge accumulated in the secondary decanter of treatment plants should be periodically purged towards a sludge storage silo. From this storage silo the sludge is evacuated for subsequent treatment. Installing a sludge storage silo as a complement to the treatment plant reduces the latter’s running costs.
