Smanco - Smart Manhole Cover
SMANCO (Smart Manhole Cover) integrates smart manhole covers into unique monitoring system. Main function of SMANCO is to detect manhole cover opening and send an alert to monitoring system.
It can handle multiple applications such as read input contacts, turn ON/OFF relays, temperature/humidity/air-flow meauserment, etc. It supports GSM/UMTS or ZigBee wireless communication.
Device feature extremely robust design for long-life outdoor use. It features RS232 port, 2 relay inputs, RTC, GPRS modem, on board antenna and expansion socket able to connect various application-specific IO modules. Power supply accepts wide range input 5 – 35V DC. Device supports operation in sleep mode with very low power consumption, which provides long autonomous battery powered operation.
