The SmartFab 125 is McElroy`s first benchtop machine that offers a smarter way to socket fuse pipe and fittings for polypropylene piping systems seen in today`s most advanced HVAC, mechanical and commercial plumbing applications. Smart Design

The SmartFab 125 was designed with a heater that rotates 180° so that it can easily function on either side of the machine. This convenience saves time and eliminates having to reposition the entire machine. The machine is also portable and can be positioned on any flat surface for precise prefabrication. The drive handle is uniquely positioned so that it can also operate on the floor, making it ideal for use in the field or the shop.

Innovative Inserts
The SmartFab inserts have the unique ability to reduce ovaility in pipe and fittings. The inserts easily snap into place and hold the pipe in a straight position during the fusion process — ensuring an even melt pattern and quality joint.

Flexible Jaw Design

The SmartFab features four jaws that will adjust to any desired spacing, allowing greater flexibility, support and alignment while fusing fittings and assemblies. Each jaw also clamps individually which allows for a greater combination of pipe and fitting sizes. The outer fixed jaw is removable, offering plenty of clearance.

Uses Standard McElroy Heater Adapters
The heater adapters used on the SmartFab 125 are the same durable, Teflon-coated heater adapters that are used on McElroy`s other socket fusion tools. They can be used interchangeably with our Socket Fusion Kits and the Spider™ 125 — making it convenient when you are using more than one kind of socket tool on a jobsite.
