SNF - Model D Series -Dry Polymer Preparation Systems

The D Series systems readily store, convey, and hydrate dry powder and bead-grade polymers for the creation of "fish-eye-free" solutions used in a variety of applications. These systems can accommodate anything from 551b. bags up to large bulk bags of dry polymer. The dry polymer is metered via volumetric feeder into the polymer wetting assembly, where the proper proportion of water and polymer are mixed together at a pre-set concentration, and for the polymer hydration process to begin. The resulting mixture is then discharged into a mix and aging tank batching system with level controls (to complete the hydration process) before it is injected into the treatment process.

The DH series has a 2 cubic foot hopper for smaller applications utilizing 551b. bags. For larger applications the DB series is utilized. The DBF unit has a bulk bag support frame that requires a forklift for bulk bag placement. The DBH unit has an integral hoist and gantry assembly for bulk bag placement.
