Sorting Cabins

The Senro sorting cabins, or picking stations, are designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the operator responsible for manual separation. The operators work at a conveyor line, picking belt, that passes through the sorting cabin. One or multiple picking belts can pass through the sorting cabin. The speed of the belts can be set locally.

Operators remove targeted materials from the picking belt and drop these in chutes positioned adjacent to the belt. The size and quantity of the chutes are determined based on the materials that are being sorted and the number of operators.

The sorting cabin is typically elevated on a platform and positioned above a number of bunkers or containers. The bunkers or containers correspond to a chute in the cabin to which the targeted materials are dropped.

The chutes can be provided rubber lined and with a pneumatic or mechanical operated valve, which reduces noise and cold drafts in the cabin.

The size and construction method of a sorting cabin are flexible and are designed to the requirements and wishes of the customer. A containerised set up or a build with isolated panels are both possible or only a platform with chutes. Depending on the application windows, doors, stairways, lightning, heating or complete climate control systems can be provided.
