Ke Kelit - Model PHONEX ST -Soundproof Drainage Pipe System
PHONEX ST pipes are co-extruded from polypropylene using innovative three-layer technology. The outer layer is particularly impact-resistant and protects against damage. The middle layer reliably insulates sound. This means that PHONEX ST can be used safely in buildings with sound insulation requirements based on DIN 4109. The smooth inner layer protects against corrosion caused by aggressive household chemicals. As the impact and deflection noise of waste water is greatest in bends and branches, PHONEX ST fittings are made entirely of sound-insulating material.
Sound insulation
In tests at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics in Stuttgart, PHONEX ST has demonstrated its good sound insulation properties in a practical installation situation. PHONEX ST complies with all applicable regulations for drainage systems, including noise reduction and fire behavior (DIN 4102). The noise level emitted by the system was determined by the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics in Stuttgart (based on DIN 4109). The drainage pipe system proved its excellent properties here. A very good 21 dB(A) at 2 l/s was achieved with our system clamp for the UG rear room requiring protection (P-BA 62/2019).
The innovative three-layer technology of the drainage system:

The high material density guarantees optimum sound insulation. PHONEX ST is durable, corrosion-resistant and the material mixture has a high chemical resistance to pollution in waste water.
