Acoustilay is manufactured in 3 different grades to ensure you get the perfect product for your project:

Acoustilay 15 (15mm thick and 15kg per sqm): The perfect all-round soundproofing flooring system. Enough mass and resilience to reduce airborne and impact noise, and suitable for use beneath a wide range of floor finishes. Can be used to meet Part E of the Building regulations or just for high-level domestic comfort.

Acoustilay 8 (12mm thick and 8kg per sqm): The ideal product for use beneath timber and laminate floor finishes where impact noise is the major concern, but still with enough mass to eliminate some airborne noise too. Particularly useful where carpets are being replaced with timber floor finishes in flats and apartments and increased sound insulation is required. Can also be used to meet Part E of the Building regulations or just for high-level domestic comfort.

Acoustilay 3 (10mm thick and 3kg per sqm): Perfect for use on concrete floors beneath carpets, where impact noise is the only concern. The highest performing impact noise product for concrete floors on the market.

Building Regulations Part E: Acoustilay can be used above most lath and plaster and resiliently fixed, double plasterboard ceilings to bring the overall floor/ceiling construction up to the standards of Building Regulations Approved Document E (2003).
