HARSH Stabilized Underfloor tipping gears are designed to address the demands of modern construction and tipping applications. These gears feature an integral stabilizer, rendering them uniquely capable of handling the most challenging tipping tasks. They eliminate body deflection and chassis stress by locking the body squarely to the chassis. The hydraulic double-acting design allows for precise control, powering up and down without reliance on gravity, making them adaptable to tail lifts, bin lifts, and crane applications. Available in various models, they range from 3.5t to 32t gvw, suited for tippers and tipper grabs, enhancing the stability, safety, and performance of heavy-duty vehicles. The system is driven either by an electro-hydraulic power pack or PTO/pump drive, depending on the model. These tipping gears boost payload capacity and fuel efficiency, proven through MIRA wind tunnel tests to offer up to 9% fuel savings. All models are backed with a CE certificate of conformity.
Stabilized Underfloor (SU) tipping gears are the strongest, most rigid, stable and safe tipping gears you can buy. Only HARSH Stabilized Underfloor rams are built with an integral stabiliser, making them the only stabilized underfloor gears suitable for the most arduous tipping jobs. For everything else, HARSH Stabilized Underfloor tipping gears simply have huge reserves of performance.
The range covers 3.5t to 7.5t gvw chassis. The unique stabilizer frame locks the body squarely to the chassis, eliminating the deflections caused by uneven loads and sites. It can control uneven loads effectively, eliminating chassis and body stress.
Being a double-acting tipping gear allows the body to be powered up and down. The ability to power down without the need for gravity means the hydraulic circuit works well when incorporated with tail lifts, bin lifts and rear-mounted crane applications.
HARSH Stabilized Underfloor tipping rams are operated via an electro-hydraulic powerpack from a hand controller in the vehicle cab. On the 7.5t model, they are driven from a PTO/pump drive, if applicable – depending on your tipper body size and required lift capacity. All four models come complete with a CE certificate of conformity.
