What makes this beer fermentation tank special is itstall conical bottom. Thanks to its funnel shape,it separates and collects sediment. After the primary fermentation you can simply discharge the unwanted sediment, leaving the beer inside the tank.
There aremany benefitsto using the conical fermenter, for example youdon’t have to transfer to another tank between primary and secondary fermentationand risk oxidation. More importantly, youdon’t needto haveanother tankwasting precious space. It also allows you toeasily collect and reuse yeast,saving lots of moneyin the long run.
Alarge, dimpled jacketon the coat and a plate on the conical bottommake sure the temperature inside the conical fermenter is always optimal. Thanks to the vertical construction of the cooling jacket, the stored liquids will beefficiently chilled even if the tank is not fullto the brim.

AISI 304
The conical fermenter is made out of AISI 304 quality stainless steel. An upgrade to AISI 316L stainless steel is available for high-corrosion environments.
Mirror Polished
A high-polish, mirrored finish is applied to the outside of the conical fermenter. Marbled, Matte and Scotch Brite finishes are also available upon request. The inside is BA (IIId) Mirror polished.
Conical Bottom
The beer fermentation tank is equipped with a tall, centered conical bottom (30°/45°/60°). It makes sediment separation easy and removes the need for another vessel.
Torispherical Top
A rounded, torispherical top is standard for the conical fermenter. It is specially shaped to handle work under high pressures and compliant with the DIN 28011 norm.
Conical Bottom
The conical fermenter has a large, funnel-shaped bottom that separates and collects sediment. It removes the need of a second tank and enables two-step fermentation in a single vessel.
Dimple Jacket
A dimple jacket is a thin, spotted shell that regulates tank temperatures with the help of a cooling/heating medium such as glycol. They are made of light-weight materials and spot-welded for minimal additional weight.
Insulation Layer
The tank is wrapped with a thick layer of polyurethane foam which provides great thermal insulation. The PU foam is resistant to moisture and water, making it perfect for stainless steel tanks.
Clean in Place (CIP)
No more scrubbing - cleaning the conical fermenter is automatic thanks to the CIP pipe and spray ball. The BA (IIId) inside finish prevents sediment build-up.
Pressure Vessel
The tank is designed, manufactured, inspected and tested to safely perform at high pressure levels. Our CE PED certificate ensures maximum quality and safe use.
