LG - Model 304 -Stainless Steel Pipe
Alloy 304 is a versatile austenitic grade of stainless steel. A Stainless Steel 304 Pipe is designed possessing a superior concentration of 18% chromium with 8% nickel content. The superior concentration in the SS 304 Pipe gives these modules excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance properties across stress-induced environmental conditions. The most common and widely used 304 Stainless Steel Tube showcases excellent welding characteristics and can be drawn without the requirement of annealing procedures. Designed possessing a superior mechanical performance, the SS 304 Tubing has a minimum tensile strength of 515mpa with a minimum yield strength of 205mpa. These tubes can be readily elongated by a minimum of 40%. AISI 304 Schedule 40 Pipe is designed with a Brinell hardness of 201 HB max while exhibiting an excellent density of 8.0 kg/m3.
A SS 304 Seamless Pipe is designed by passing hot steel billets through an extruded metal pipe. The hollow billets precisely shape the items and don’t possess any seams, as seen in the ASME SA 312 Grade 304 Welded Pipe. In the welded configuration sheets or strips, and rolled and welded in place longitudinally or in other configurations. A UNS S30403 Stainless Steel 304 ERW Pipe is produced by cold forming a versatile flat steel strip followed by passing the material grade through a series of rollers allowing it to form a longitudinal seam. The two edges are then heated simultaneously utilizing a high-frequency current creating a strong bond, thereby fitting the material in place. The absence of welds gives the ASTM A312 TP304 Seamless Pipe superior strength and better load-bearing capacity than their welded and ERW counterparts.
The SS 304 Pipe grade showcases excellent drawability and can be shaped in different shapes to meet project requirements. A DIN 1.4307 Round Pipe is designed with a circular cross-sectional area and can be seamless or welded in place with an internal weld seam. SA 312 TP304 Square Pipe is a common feature in railings and staircases, structural buildings, and so on. These square sectional pipe grades are nearly identical to the ASTM A312 Gr TP304 Rectangular Pipe modules. These pipes are lightweight and are a preferred choice in the transportation of fluids and gases. To know more about the Polished 304 Stainless Steel Pipe or any other products, contact us.
