ASTM A276 Uns S31803 Duplex Round Bar, furnished under condition A, will undergo annealing. The A276 S31803 Hex Bar is first hardened, then tempered at a relative temperature. The ASTM A276 specifies that bars produced under Condition T must be hardened and tempered at a significantly higher temperature. Cold work is required for both conditions S & B.
As a result of Condition S, ASTM A276 F51 Bar could either be strain hardened or relatively light cold worked. As opposed to Condition B, where ASTM A276 Uns S31803 Bar is cold worked at severe temperatures.
