STAR SELECT - Model S 60 -Mobile Star Screen

Highest throughputs when screening as many fractions as possible, low downtimes and high separation efficiency as well as an economical mode of operation and flexible application options are the distinguishing features of the Eggersmann star screen. The STAR SELECT S 60 E star screen satisfies all expectations for efficient, innovative screening technology and it also provides many other advantages. For one, this mobile screening machine can be used to screen both biomass and compost as well as bark, waste wood and wood chips. It thereby achieves a throughput of up to 300 m³/h with three fractions. The newly developed Eggersmann star screens with Duramax cleaning element enables the stars to clean themselves automatically, causing less wear. This means that wet and sticky material is screened easily.

 With the Eggersmann QuickChange system, the shaft can be replaced within a very short time and this reduces downtimes.

To prepare contaminated central fractions for ejection of the following foreign bodies, the individual screening shafts operate using the new Eggersmann SplitSpeed process for which a patent is pending. This involves the screening shaft speeds being set variably and independently to position undesirable lightweight materials in the optimum location on the material blanket during the screening process which enables them to be drawn off reliably using the AIRFIX wind sifter.

Then this central fraction with a reduced pollutant content is sent back to the composting process. Depending on the combination of stars and settings, screening sections of 0/10 - 25 mm, 10/25 - 120 & >120 mm can be achieved.
