FARAd - Steam Condensers
Also known as: Drain cooler, dump condenser, atmospheric condenser
The steam condenser is an integral part of any industrial and marine steam system. The heat exchanger condenses and sub cools return steam so that it can enter the boiler feed pump. Seawater or freshwater is used as the cooling medium. Steam condenses at atmospheric or higher than atmospheric pressure.

Materials
Raw materials are sourced from reputable EU based manufacturers and material thickness is higher than that required by the relevant design code. The heat exchanger is designed to have a long service life. Tubes available in steel, aluminum brass & copper nickel (90/10). Tube sheets available in carbon steel, naval brass and copper nickel (90/10).
Design
Industry leading heat exchanger software is used to find the required heat exchanger dimensions based on customer requirements. Each heat exchanger is made to order with an optimized thermal and mechanical design.

- Temperature gauges at the cooling fluid inlet and outlet.
- Pressure gauge on the shell-side
- Air vent and drain valve on the shell side
- Vacuum break connection on shell side
- Control valve

Approvals
Third party approval based on customer requirement. All marine classification society approvals may be given. CE marking is stamped for land based application.
Delivery
2-4 weeks upon order receipt and drawing approval – confirmation.
