STI Stopper - Accidental Activation Stations
Build these North American style, ADA Compliant, multipurpose push button switches to your specifications. Unique, patented design helps dramatically stop accidental activation. Available in six colors, several button activation choices, with or without a protective cover and in any language to accommodate most applications.
DESIGN
- Unique, curved design helps protect against accidental activation.
- Optional illumination (red, green, white) can be used as a status light, indicating activation.
CONSTRUCTION
- Station housing molded of tough polycarbonate.
- Stainless steel backplate.
- Universal Stopper® cover, when mounted in accordance to manufacturer’s installation instructions on a smooth surface, provides a rain tight seal similar to a 3R rating.
INSTALLATION
- 5VA flammability rating on backplate and spacer.
- Typical working properties of polycarbonate are -40° to 250°F (-40° to 121°C).
ELECTRONICS
- #2/5/9 Buttons 2 Form C contacts rated at 10A, ½ HP, 125/250 VAC, 6A, 30V.
- #8 Pneumatic Button 10A (resistive) 120-240 VAC and has a pneumatic adjustable timer (range 2-60 sec. ±15%, repeat accuracy ±10%). 2 contacts – 1 NO, 1 NC.
- #0/1/3/4 Buttons Includes 1 NO & 1 NC gold plated interchangeable or replaceable contact. Holds up to 3 contacts. 3A @ 600 VAC or 1A @ 250 VDC.

- Your choice of colors — red, green, yellow, white or blue.
