The daum screen from Stjernholm is highly suitable for installation in any facility where sludge concentration and dry matter levels are to be significantly increased.
The daum screen is constructed as a closed casing with a drum mounted with a stainless steel perforation. The drum rotates on 4 wheels; 2 pulling wheels and 2 supporting wheels. A gear motor powers the drum through a shaft on 2 wheels. The motor is joined with a frequency converter.
The daum screen is designed for continuous operation and is equipped with large hinged lids for easy inspection and service of the daum screen.
