Brunnenbau Stockmann is first and foremost a family business . Our company is typical of the economic structure of the Münsterland region: medium-sized, family-run for generations. The employees in our company are often the children, and sometimes even the grandchildren, of people who previously worked for the Stockmann company. We know each other, often even on a personal level.

Even though we trade in plastic products in the broadest sense, we still see ourselves as a craft business . Because we still practice craftsmanship today. Our company goes back to Johann Stockmann`s carpentry workshop. He set up his own business as a master craftsman in the middle of the 19th century. That was five generations ago now. Since then, his company has experienced economic and political upheavals, the industrial revolution, two world wars, and numerous technical innovations, from the industrialization of agriculture to the computer and digital age. And the company, just like its employees, has always grown to meet new demands.

The Stockmann family, the experts in our production workshop, have always been open to technical innovations. Practical experience with a wide range of well construction projects has been incorporated into technical developments. Even the machines we work on were partly developed and built in-house ! This makes it clear why we still see ourselves as a craft business. Always on the lookout for the optimal solution for our customers, our technicians still work and tinker on special challenges until they have developed a practical idea.
