When selecting the optimal size of a Straight Screw Screen unit, the most important parameter is the maximum flow rate (Qmax) through the unit. Another key factor is the screen opening size, which should be chosen based on the size of the solids to be removed.
The operation of the Straight Screw Screen can be controlled via an electrical switchboard—either in a basic version equipped with a time relay, or in a more advanced version using a PLC, which allows for enhanced control and programming options.
