Aerostrip - Strip Diffuser Modules
Large diffuser surface - compactly installed. AEROSTRIP Modules combine the high performance of the strip diffuser with the quick and easy assembly of the plate diffuser. The AEROSTRIP modules are available in lengths of 2 - 4 meters and a width of 1 meter. Compared to other systems (plates, tubes, strips), modules have a significantly larger area, which means that less effort is required for assembly and piping. The AEROSTRIP modules can be manufactured in PVC or stainless steel on customer request.
- Flexible construction: The modules can be equipped with 3 or 5 strip diffusers. This makes it possible to respond extremely flexibly to special requirements
- Height-adjustable installation: In the case of pools with a gradient, the modules can be elevated in order to be attached at the same height.
- Higher range: For continuous operation, strip diffusers can be charged with specific airflows of 5 - 80 Nm³/h/m². Specific airflows up to 120 Nm³/h are permitted for inspection purposes. The advantage: no deposits even with extremely low loads and thus greater flexibility of the system
- Higher bottom coverage: Large-area modules offer an advantage for reactors with very high oxygen requirements
Existing panels can be replaced with AEROSTRIP modules. We offer our customers the opportunity to renew the existing aeration system with as little effort as possible. Every old panel is exchanged for a new AEROSTRIP module, the existing air pipes and attachment points can continue to be used, provided their age and condition allow it.

The polyurethane membrane is perforated with needle holes to allow the supplied air to exit the diffuser body. The type of perforation has a significant impact on the operating range, i.e. the air flow rate of the aerator. With AEROSTRIP diffusers you can choose between different types of perforation.
The “STANDARD” perforation has slightly smaller holes but a higher number of holes (approx. 400,000 holes/m²). It is particularly suitable for operation with low to medium specific airflows and achieves very high values for oxygen uptake (SOTE) and oxygen yield (SAE).
The “PHOENIX” perforation has slightly larger holes but a smaller number of holes (approx. 133,000 holes/m²). This results in a lower pressure loss and allows an efficient working range with specific airflows above 40 Nm³/h per m² of membrane area.
