STS - Model 8000 Series -Contamination Trainer
The STS Contamination Trainer is a generic simulated ionising radiation meter for the training of nuclear workers in the identification and quantification of radioactive contamination. The first generic meter made by STS, ideally suited to the University, research and Hospitals sector.

- Unit features a full colour 2.4" screen with counts displayed and a bar graph visual indicator.
- Supplied in carry case with chosen probe, cable, manual, charger and 1 can of LS1 simulant.
- Meter powered by a built-in rechargeable lithium cell giving over 14 hrs run time.
- Can be run directly from a 240v or 100v mains supply via a wall charger.
