A submersible pump is a device that has a sealed motor close-coupled with the pump body. This pump can be submerged in the water for pumping up the liquid and widely used in industries and Wells. The pump functions by converting the rotatory energy into kinetic energy using the pressure pulled from the pump. The water enters the pump, passes through the intake into the rotating impeller and then through the diffuser. They are also used to remove the excess water from flooded basements, pump oil from underground, and pump slurries. They push the water to the surface and faster when compared to other pumps.
