Sentry IMS, developed by Wavefront Systems Ltd, is an advanced integrity monitoring sonar system, tailored specifically for subsea applications in the oil and gas sector. This system provides 360° environmental monitoring, capable of scanning over a billion cubic feet of seawater from a single location. It effectively detects even minute leaks in hydrocarbon infrastructure, with a remarkable sensitivity to leak rates as minute as 0.1 litre per minute for gas and 1 litre per minute for oil. The automated technology minimizes false alarms and eliminates the need for constant supervision, identifying integrity breaches to within a few meters. Active

An active sonar, Sentry IMS works by projecting a high bandwidth pulse over a short duration, into the water. It listens for echoes from any objects such as ROVs, structures or hydrocarbon leaks.

Automatic

Each system is fully automated, so if a hydrocarbon discharge is detected, the alarm is raised. Data on the leak position is displayed and transmitted automatically to your remote sonar monitoring stations.

Flexible

With wired and battery-powered configurations, Sentry IMS provides flexibility for how the system is used. Onshore remote access enables easy configuration and monitoring.
