Suction arms B are used for localized suction, as a matter of facts they are used near the points of emissions of the pollutant. They are especially used for the suction of smokes provoked by both electric and oxy-acetylene welding and for all workings which create exhalations and smokes.
Arms can be placed on really different plants with different kinds of filters according to the pollutant to treat. Suction arms B are the final element of a suction plant which normally is composed of: filter, electric fan and the relative connection lines. The choice of the kind of filter to use depends on the pollutant to treat and on the quantity of job places.
This determines also the speed of air inside the pipe lines and as a consequence the capacity and the head of the exhaust fan to use. Each plant is expressly designed according to the customer’s needs.
In order to make an efficient suction plant, it is possible to choose filters provided with an exhaust fan or just the single components with the suitable dimensions. Arms are composed of rigid aluminium tubes, a support structure with double articulated joint and an adjustable suction hood with a conical-truncated shape. The suction arm is designed to guarantee an easy positioning in any direction.
