If the water quality is bad, the inter tank could be completely corroded in 2~3 years. Stainless steel is not means it can’t be corroded, it is only not easily be corroded. But under the high temperature, the chloride ion and fluoride ion in the water are very active, they could serious hurt the stainless steel inner tank of solar water heater.

Some key improvements in the raw material formula as patent:
Tensile Strength increased 17.6% and Flexural Modulus raised about 48%, which means better performance in strength and hardness, reduce the possibility of leak when the pressure increases.
Vicat Softening Temperature increased from 135℃ to 152℃, and Defection Temperature Under Load goes up from 108℃ to 132.3℃, which improve the sustainability in high temperature giving a longer service life.
We didn`t sacrifice Charpy Notched Impact Strength to get increase in those four indexes, which is indeed a great improvements.
